Candidates must have previous PCB design experience
• Embedded hardware design experience a plus
• Experience designing for EMC
• Prior knowledge of Automotive Lighting standards
• Understanding of Design for Manufacturability, Design for Assembly, and Design for Testability
• Working knowledge of schematic, layout, and spice tools
• Experience with ECAD libraries and library configuration management
• Familiarity with IPC standards and guidelines
• Good communication skills, high energy level, and ability to work effectively within a team and lead the PCB team

Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering or similar area of study, Master's EE is a plus
• Minimum of 5 years of experience with PCB design for Automotive LED applications
• Thorough understanding of product design using passive and active electronics surface-mount components

• Participate in research, design and develop of electronics for new programs in compliance with automotive standards and customer specifications
• Failure analysis and investigation of electronic failures and provide recommendations to Quality and Manufacturing team
• Interface internally with cross-functional departments, and externally with suppliers and customer though all phases of product development, validation and manufacturing
• Work with a cross-functional design team to effectively manage data and, revision control for electrical and software designs
• Support benchmark activity for evaluating electrical designs
• Maintain component and footprint libraries in Altium
