Full Time Lathe Operator 8:00am-4:30pm shift




UEI Group companies are worldwide industry leaders in the supply and manufacture of foil stamping and embossing products. We are passionate about using precision, artistic execution, and innovative efficiencies to reliably provide engraving and foils to our customers around the world. We specialize in brass engraving and are seeking a full time Vertical CNC Machine Operator to join our production team. The ideal candidate will be detail oriented, mechanically inclined, and comfortable operating CNC equipment in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This person must be dependable, flexible, and capable of managing shifting priorities throughout the workday. A strong attendance record is a must for this position. The hours for the full-time position are Monday - Friday, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm, with Saturday shifts until noon when business demands require it.

Experience:

CNC Machine Operation: 1 year (Preferred)

Reading and Following Data Sheets or Work Orders: 1 year (Preferred)

Requirements

Experience operating vertical CNC machines, including tool loading and program execution

Ability to read and follow job data sheets and machining specifications

Proficient in the use of depth gauges to verify engraving depth and micrometers to check material thickness

Experience with hand tools including hammers, deburring tools, and related shop equipment

Ability to safely operate a bandsaw

Must be able to stand on your feet for the duration of an 8-hour shift

Must be available to work Saturdays until noon when called upon

Must wear required personal protective equipment at all times: steel toe boots, ear protection, and safety glasses

Must be able to lift brass sheets and other materials weighing up to 40 lbs.

Ability to adapt to a dynamic environment with frequently changing priorities

Must be able to pass a drug screen and background check
