Position: Embedded Real-Time Software Engineer (Ada)
Location: Orlando, FL
Overview
We are seeking a skilled Embedded Real-Time Software Engineer with experience in Ada programming to join a high-performing engineering team based in Orlando, Florida. This role offers the opportunity to contribute across the full software development lifecycle, working on complex real-time systems in a collaborative, multi-disciplinary environment.
Responsibilities
Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle, including requirements analysis, design, development, integration, and testing
Design, develop, and maintain real-time embedded software using Ada
Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams, including systems, hardware, and test engineers
Support integration and validation activities involving both hardware and software components
Contribute to formal qualification and verification testing processes
Continuously improve development practices, tools, and workflows
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field
3+ years of experience in real-time embedded software development
Hands-on programming experience using Ada
3+ years of experience in software integration and testing involving hardware/software systems.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with Linux and/or VxWorks operating systems
Proven ability to work effectively in multi-disciplinary engineering teams
Familiarity with modern DevOps practices, including GitLab CI/CD pipelines
