  • Software requirements: Develop clear requirements and ensure bidirectional traceability between system requirements, code, and test cases
  • Verification and testing: Design and execute functional and/or automated testing to demonstrate full compliance with software requirements
  • Hardware integration: Perform board bring-up, interface with sensors/actuators, communicate with common protocols (CAN, SPI, UART, etc.), and debug hardware/software
  • Configuration management: Maintain version control and configuration management baselines in alignment with appropriate standards

Required Qualifications
  • B.S. in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Computer Science required with a minimum GPA of 3.3 - M.S. or PhD a plus
  • 5-year minimum experience developing embedded software or controls, strong proficiency in embedded C/C++
  • Experience writing and following software and system requirements and requirements traceability
  • Proficiency in software debugging and using standard hardware debugging tools (oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, etc.)
  • United States Citizenship required due to US Government ITAR program restrictions

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience developing and following DO-178 documentation and processes
  • Experience with TI C2000 or STM32 microcontroller family
  • Experience with additional programming languages (C#, Python, assembly, etc.) and GUI design
  • Understanding of digital control algorithms, digital filters and the general control of power electronics systems
