Contract Embedded Tester Jobs in Florida (NOW HIRING)

Description

What You Will Do:

Support embedded software verification for a robotics Platform, including development testing, dry runs, and formal test execution.

Execute manual and automated test protocols, analyze results, and support debug and defect resolution.

Perform software updates and system bring up, supporting application integration and readiness.

Partner with embedded development and clinical development teams to support integration testing and rapid validation cycles.

Develop and execute test scripts and protocols using Python, C/C++, and MATLAB, and document results in JAMA and Jira defect tracking systems.

Skills & Qualifications

Must Have:

• 2 - 4 years experience in software, embedded testing, or firmware/hardware testing

• Familiarity with Python, MATLAB and basic testing concepts

• Ability to interact with HW using network protocols, digital signal analyzers, oscilloscopes

• Bachelor’s degree in Software, Computer, Electrical Engineering, or related field.

Nice to Have:

• Familiarity with requirements and traceability tools (e.g., JAMA, DOORS)

• Familiarity with GitLab and CI/CD pipelines and concepts

• Understanding of SDLC and verification processes, preferably in a regulated environment

Experience Level: Intermediate Level

Work Environment: 4 Days on site, 1 remote; short term contract, up to 6 monts.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Weston, FL.

The pay range for this position is $38.00 - $50.00/hr.
