Compensation: $190k–$220K (based on experience level)
Work Environment: 100% Onsite About the Role
We are seeking a Senior Embedded Network Engineer to develop next-generation encrypted networking products supporting government and defense programs. This role sits at the intersection of embedded Linux, high-speed networking, and secure communications. You’ll build and enhance secure data plane applications, integrate IP security stacks, and support mission-critical networking systems. This is not general embedded development.
This is embedded + networking + IPSEC Key Responsibilities
Develop C/C++ software in embedded Linux environments Build and optimize secure networking features (IPSEC, routing, TCP/IP) Work within fast-path data plane architectures Integrate secure and open-source networking stacks Follow secure coding practices and support vulnerability mitigation Required Qualifications
Active DoD Secret clearance (or higher) 5+ years networking experience (TCP/IP, routing, IPSEC, control/data plane) 5–7+ years embedded Linux development experience Strong C/C++ programming skills Experience building secure products and using static analysis tools Preferred Experience
