Job description

Role Overview:

Motivated, hard-working individual to develop embedded software automated testing and/or manual testing for our Sleep & Respiratory Care sleep and vent solutions.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Works under close supervision on segments of a project or very small projects.
  • Performs tasks to schedule and requirements.
  • Provides solutions using standard techniques and can provide alternatives to common problems.
  • Works on specific assignments within a technical area, applying standard techniques.
  • Demonstrates the ability to work as part of a team within the department and across departments to help achieve group, department, and overall project goals.

Requirements:

  • Industry Experience:Prior experience in the medical device industry is required.
  • Technical Experience:Experience in requirements analysis, test development, test execution, and defect management. Limited experience in applying engineering skills is acceptable for this level.
  • Knowledge:Basic understanding of engineering principles, practices, and the basics of business operations.
  • Communication:Displays the ability to communicate effectively.

Preferred Skills:

  • C# or test automation experience is a bonus, but not required.
Minimum required Education:
  • Bachelor's / Master's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology or equivalent. Minimum required Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience with Bachelor's in areas such as Software Development, Software Design and Architecture, Testing and Quality Assurance or equivalent OR no prior experience required with Master's Degree.

Minimum required Certification:
  • ISTQB Advanced
