Job Description

DUTIES: Design, develop, implement, and test low level embedded software including, but not limited to: RTOS, Memory, Fault Detection, Power Management, LIN, DMA, PWM Input/Output, Discrete Input/Output, Analog Input/Output. Utilize MCAL configuration tool to generate software and hand-code. Design and execute tests to ensure compliance with the component technical requirements. Provide independent review of software written by others. Hybrid Work Policy - 3 days In-office, 2 days remote - Must be able to report to local office.

REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field of study and Five (5) years of experience as an Embedded Software Engineer, Validation Engineer, or related occupation. Alternatively, the employer will accept a Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field of study and Three (3) years of experience as an Embedded Software Engineer, Validation Engineer, or related occupation. Three (3) years of experience with: Designing, developing, and testing Microcontroller and ECU Abstraction Layer and Complex Drivers for AUTOSAR; Reading schematics and understanding of basic electrical circuits; Real Time Operating Systems (RTOS) for multi-core microcontroller; ARM, PowerPC, and Renesas microcontrollers; Performing root cause analysis with Integrated Basic Software and Application Software on multi-core microcontrollers; and Embedded compiler, linker, debugging tools, and software including Lauterbach, ETAS INCA, CANalyzer, oscilloscopes, and other general lab equipment.
