Job Title: Android QA Engineer
Location: Remote or Washington, DC
Experience: 6-8 Years
Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Android QA Engineer with experience in Android OS and Automotive/Projection systems to support quality engineering initiatives. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in API and UI test automation, along with solid debugging capabilities and a deep understanding of mobile application testing.
Key Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and execute test strategies and test cases for Android-based applications and systems.
  • Perform API and UI automation testing for mobile and embedded Android platforms.
  • Validate applications running on Android OS and Android Automotive OS (AAOS) or projection systems.
  • Analyze and debug issues across application, API, and system layers.
  • Collaborate with development, DevOps, and product teams to ensure high-quality releases.
  • Work with CI/CD pipelines to enable automated test execution and continuous validation.
  • Review logs, identify defects, and support root cause analysis.
  • Ensure compliance with quality standards and best practices.
Required Skills & Qualifications
  • Strong experience with Android OS testing and mobile application QA.
  • Proficiency in Java or Kotlin for test automation.
  • Experience with API testing and UI automation frameworks.
