Overview
The Producer is responsible for driving revenue growth by cultivating and managing relationships with new and existing clients. This role primarily focuses on small to mid-size companies with high revenue potential. The Producer collaborates with other team members and support personnel in sales situations and may oversee overall client relationships with day-to-day account management support.

As a Producer, you play a pivotal role in driving revenue growth, building and nurturing valuable relationships, and expanding Gallagher’s market share. Your contributions will directly influence the success and growth of the business.

- Prospect and acquire new clients through community networking, industry engagement, client referrals, and collaboration with Branch Managers to identify opportunities.
- Develop and maintain in-depth knowledge of coverage lines, risk management solutions, and insurance products.
- Clearly articulate Gallagher’s unique value proposition, differentiating it from competitors.
- Qualify opportunities and prioritize those with a high likelihood of success.
- Gain a profound understanding of clients’ business needs and leverage the extensive network of Gallagher Industry and Niche Experts to address those needs.
- Proactively engage clients by anticipating and planning for their future requirements.
- Foster relationships with external firms and individuals with clients that Gallagher can assist.
- Establish connections with carriers to comprehend their solutions in relation to client needs and factors influencing commissions and fees.
- Stay updated on industry and market trends that may impact prospects and clients, and maintain expertise to meet their evolving needs.
- Develop proposals, contracts, and renewal agreements by coordinating efforts with Gallagher Client Service Operations.
About You
- Bachelor's degree, 1 year related experience, and appropriate insurance licensing required OR Bachelor's degree, participation in Gallagher's Sales Internship Program (GSIP), and appropriate insurance licensing required OR High School Diploma/GED and 6 years experience.
- Professional designation may be preferred, including CEBS, CPCU, CIC, or ARM.
- Behaviors: Act independently with minimal direction. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
