Job description

Fort Wayne, Indiana, Emergency Medicine Physician Job (Willing to License)Clinical Role:

    • Start Date: As soon as credentialed
    • Providers Needed: 4
    • Perm Position Only (no locums to perm considered)
    • Full Time: 1752 hours annually
    • Patients volume: 10,000 - 23,000 average patient volume/year
    • Patient population/age: all ages
    • Practice Setting: Hospital
    • Fellowship trained: Preferred, not required
    • Minimum experience required: 3 - 5 years experience in emergency medicine
    • Ideal candidates must be Board Certified in Emergency Medicine or Family Medicine
    • Physician will provide specialized medical treatment according to patient needs within community hospital emergency departments
    • Physician will manage multiple patients both with serious and non-serious illnesses and injuries including heart attacks, stroke, motor vehicle accidents, severe infections, and pneumonia
    • Perform assessments, diagnostic procedures, and medical treatments as needed to resuscitate or stabilize patients, and refer them to the appropriate medical departments
    • DEA – Required
    • Board Certified – Required
    • Active IN License – Required (Willing to License)
