Userpilot

Austin, TX • On-site, Remote

Full-time

Posted 7 days ago

Job description

Userpilot is an innovative, fast-growing B2B SaaS platform dedicated to revolutionizing product engagement, user onboarding, and product-led growth. With a global presence, we empower businesses to deliver exceptional user experiences and optimize digital product interactions across multiple channels.

We're searching for a detail-oriented and results-driven Email Marketing Specialist to own our email marketing program from strategy through execution.

The Role

As an Email Marketing Specialist, you will manage our HubSpot instance end-to-end, building workflows that move contacts through the funnel, keeping our database clean and organized, and writing copy that gets opened and clicked. You will work closely with Sales, Design, and Content to keep our email program running smoothly and improving over time.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build, manage, and optimize HubSpot email workflows across the customer lifecycle, including nurture, onboarding, re-engagement, and promotional sequences.
  • Create and maintain list segmentation strategies so the right message reaches the right audience at the right time.
  • Manage the contact database, including data hygiene, deduplication, and enrichment, so records stay accurate and usable.
  • Write and edit email copy, subject lines, and calls-to-action that reflect our brand voice and drive engagement.
  • Plan and run A/B tests on subject lines, content, send times, and layouts, then apply what you learn to future campaigns.
  • Track and report on performance metrics such as open rates, click-through rates, conversions, and list growth, and use that data to guide decisions.
  • Build and maintain the email marketing calendar so campaigns are planned, scheduled, and coordinated with broader marketing efforts.
  • Monitor deliverability and compliance with email regulations and best practices.
  • Partner with Sales, Design, and Content teams to keep messaging consistent across channels.

Requirements

  • 2-4 years of experience in email marketing, lifecycle marketing, or a related role, ideally in B2B SaaS.
  • Fluency in HubSpot, including workflows, list segmentation, and email tools.
  • Experience managing contact databases and maintaining data quality at scale.
  • Strong writing and editing skills, with the ability to adapt tone and voice for different audiences.
  • Hands-on experience running A/B tests and using the results to improve performance.
  • Experience building and managing marketing calendars across multiple campaigns.
  • Comfort working with performance data and translating it into clear recommendations.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple campaigns at once.
  • HubSpot certification (Marketing Software, Email Marketing, or similar), experience with HTML/CSS for email template customization, and familiarity with Product Management, Product Analytics, and User Engagement niches and tools will be a significant plus.

Benefits

  • Competitive salary and growth-based bonus opportunities
  • Top-notch, well-resourced team, including Marketing Operations (MOps) and Revenue Operations (RevOps)
  • Opportunities to attend international conferences and team off-sites
  • Generous education budget for professional development and certifications
  • Hybrid structure: 3 days in office (in our Austin office), 2 remote
