Company Description
We are on the hunt for a sharp and innovative email marketing specialist to build and optimize email marketing campaigns for two consumer brands. This role reports to the eCommerce Manager and will work side by side with the Marketing and Design teams to implement and schedule campaigns that drive traffic and sales to our eCommerce websites. In this position, you will be overseeing all aspects of e-mail marketing including, but not limited to:
  1. Campaign planning & strategy
  2. Copywriting for CTAs, subject lines & body text
  3. Email design
  4. Implementation and scheduling
  5. A/B testing
  6. Customer segmentation
  7. Integrations & technical issues
  8. Analysis, Reporting, and KPIs

Job Description
1. Create email marketing campaigns to promote SSD brands.
2. Campaign Planning & Strategy. Work with eCommerce and Marketing teams to create and schedule email campaigns that align with the marketing calendar. Recommend offers, discounts, and promotions that achieve campaign objectives while maximizing ROI.
3. Implementation & Scheduling. Create and schedule email and SMS campaigns using industry best practices and align with the campaign strategy & schedules set forth by the eCommerce and Marketing teams.
4. Customer Segmentation. Analyze customer behavior & demographics to create customer segments that ensure campaigns are relevant, timely, and compelling for all recipients.
5. Email Design. Working with the Design team to ensure email layouts are on-brand, optimized for a positive user experience, and align with campaign objectives.
6. Copywriting. Using AI tools and copywriting best practices, create persuasive subject lines, CTAs, and body text that align with the brand's tone of voice while maximizing open and clickthrough rates.
7. Optimization. Implementing and monitoring A/B tests, tracking user behavior, monitoring email performance, and continually suggesting improvements to maximize the effectiveness of email campaigns and lead capture activities.
8. Technical Issues & Integrations. Assist eCommerce Manager to implement software tools that utilize email to enhance the customer journey. Monitor and troubleshoot issues with email deliverability, software integrations, and data/tracking.
9. Analysis & Reporting. Prepare and present periodic reports about the performance of campaigns and flows, developing actionable insights and recommendations about how to improve email campaign performance.
