Position Description
The Project Manager (PM) is responsible for managing all aspects of a construction project from initiation through to completion. This includes managing budgets, schedules, and resources, and ensuring that the project meets quality standards and client expectations. The PM coordinates efforts between various teams, including subcontractors, vendors, and field staff, while maintaining clear communication with clients and senior leadership.
Primary Responsibilities and Duties:
    • Oversee and manage construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and according to specifications.
    • Coordinate with clients, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure smooth project execution and resolve any issues.
    • Develop project schedules and track progress to ensure milestones are achieved and timelines are met.
    • Manage project budgets, monitor expenditures, and control costs to maintain profitability.
    • Ensure compliance with safety standards, building codes, and other regulatory requirements.
    • Review and manage project documentation, including contracts, change orders, RFIs, submittals, and reports.
    • Supervise and support field teams, including foremen and laborers, ensuring that they have the resources and guidance they need.
    • Identify and mitigate risks, addressing any issues that may affect project timelines or costs.
    • Provide regular project updates to senior management and clients, including progress reports, budget status, and any challenges faced.
    • Support project closeout activities, ensuring all final deliverables and documentation are completed.

Position Requirements
Qualifications:
    • 3-5 years of experience in project management or construction management (preferably in heavy civil, commercial, or industrial construction) or relevant experience.
    • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field.
    • Strong leadership and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
    • Proficient in construction management software (Procore, Viepoint, Bluebeam etc.) and Microsoft Office Suite.
    • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
    • Ability to manage and resolve project risks and conflicts effectively.
    • Strong understanding of construction contracts, budgeting, and project scheduling.
