The Opportunity
Williams International has an exciting opportunity for a Cell Specialist - Production Coordinator/ Expeditor to join our team in H11. The Production Coordinator/Expediter is responsible for the physical and systematic movement of materials and hardware within an assigned manufacturing/ production cell. This includes maintaining proper storage, creating kits, and distributing materials to their appropriate locations.
Additionally, the Expeditor will:
  • Distribute materials to production and assembly areas, ensuring correct parts and quantities are available to meet production needs.
  • Store incoming material by organizing and creating proper storage locations. May require the use of forklifts and pallet jacks.
  • Utilize SAP/ERP systems to locate and issue required components to production orders.
  • Receive and close incoming production orders. Packages, prepares, and delivers orders to next destination.
  • Process material transactions, including stock transfers, order releases, and inventory adjustments.
  • Occasionally operate band saw to assist in cutting raw stock.
  • Create shippers and deliver materials to shipping department for outside processing.
  • Create production kits with required parts and instructions for next level assemblies.
  • Assign work center job priority within assigned cell.
  • Track in process hardware throughout assigned cell to support ECD (estimated completion date) inquiries.
  • Coordinate & track outside process shipments of in process hardware.
  • Maintain responsibility for and accountability for product safety and the quality of work, including, as a minimum, all elements defined in the Company's Quality Policy.
  • Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 3-4 years' experience working with Inventory, Stocking/ Re-Stocking, or Material Handling.
    • Experience coordinating in process work in a manufacturing environment is desirable.
    • Prior experience in high-volume manufacturing or inventory management is preferred.
  • Proficiency in basic computer applications, including Microsoft Office and SAP or similar ERP systems.
  • Collaborates effectively across various departments to achieve shared goals while delivering excellent customer support.
  • Demonstrates attention to detail, excellent time management, and the ability to effectively prioritize and organize work.
  • Physical lifting requirements include; ability to lift 50 pounds (4 inches to 25 inches), capable of pushing or pulling a weight of 60 pounds, a grip strength of at least 50 pounds, and be able to reach above the shoulder (65 inches).
