What are some typical challenges faced by professionals working in email marketing roles, and how can they be addressed?

Professionals in email marketing roles often face challenges such as ensuring high deliverability rates, creating engaging content that resonates with diverse audiences, and staying compliant with evolving privacy regulations. Balancing personalization with automation and continuously optimizing campaigns based on analytics are also common hurdles. These challenges can be addressed by regularly updating email lists, performing A/B testing on subject lines and content, staying informed about legal requirements, and collaborating closely with design and analytics teams to refine strategies.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as an email marketing specialist?

To thrive as an Email Marketing Specialist, you need expertise in digital marketing strategies, copywriting, data analysis, and often a degree in marketing or a related field. Familiarity with email marketing platforms (such as Mailchimp or HubSpot), A/B testing tools, and analytics systems is typically required. Strong attention to detail, creativity, and excellent communication skills help set top performers apart. These skills ensure effective, targeted campaigns that drive engagement and achieve business goals.

Intake Specialist

Yates Appellate Law

Richmond, VA • On-site

$17.50 - $23.50/hr

Full-time

Posted 17 days ago

Job description

Description
The Intake Specialist is the first point of contact for prospective clients and plays a critical role in shaping their first impression of the firm. This person conducts warm, careful intake conversations, screens matters against the firm's exclusive appellate focus, and connects those we cannot help with a trusted referral partner. Beyond intake, this role also supports client communications and new-client onboarding, and works closely with the rest of the team to keep records, trackers, and files accurate and current.
This is a full-time position. Because the firm receives a modest volume of intake calls (up to five per day), the role also includes client communications and onboarding responsibilities beyond phone screening.
How to Apply:
Send an email to Rachelyates@yatesappeals.com with: (1) a subject line that says "Intake Specialist Application." Note: This is a test; (2) instead of a traditional cover letter, tell us about a time you had to help someone feel confident and taken care of during a stressful or uncertain moment. What did you do, and why did it work? (3) Do NOT apply on Wizehire; instead, apply via email only.
