Territory Sales Manager - Shaw Floors

Shaw Industries Canada is looking to hire a Retail Territory Sales Manager to maintain and grow sales of its Shaw Floors brand of Soft and Hard Surface flooring products. Our Territory Sales Manager works to maintain and increase Shaw's profitability and market share in their geographical area. They accomplish this through the development of great relationships with their specialty retail flooring dealer customers based on product knowledge, exceptional service, trust and integrity. Business growth is accomplished through implementing major market programs, services,and sample placement. This Territory spans all of the Saskatchewan, Canada province, and our ideal candidate locations to reside are Saskatoon or Regina.

Responsibilities:

Sales & Relationship Building

Daily sales calls on existing customers with special emphasis on Residential brands Shaw Floors Soft Surfaces & Shaw Floors Hard Surfacesflooring products, samples, displays, adhesive, and related floor products.

Present products to retail dealers, designers, and end-users; analyze leads provided by corporate reports.

Sell and construct display racks weighing 50lbs.

Territory Growth & Market Execution

Continually prospect for viable new accounts while developing awareness of market trends.

Implement major market programs and sample placement strategies.

Operational Excellence

Prepare and communicate periodic sales reports outlining actual sales, goals, competitive conditions, and product needs.

Analyze sales statistics by reviewing reports specific to territory to aid in formulating goals and to assist dealers in promoting sales.

Enter all customer interactions and key information into Salesforce.com.

Analyze and control travel and entertainment expenditures as well as sample budget to conform to budgetary requirements.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma/GED and at least1year of sales experience.

  • Ability to communicate with a diverse group of customers (via email, phone, virtual video, and in person).

  • Ability to use a laptop computer and basic Microsoft Windows software including MS Office.

  • Physically able to assemble and take down display fixtures; ability to lift more than 50lbs on a regular basis.

  • Valid driver's license; Company Vehicle provided.

  • Reside within the territory (preferred Saskatoon or Regina, Saskatchewan, Canada) and the ability to travel 4-5 days a week in territory, with ~1 overnight trip per month.

Preferred:

  • 2+ years of retail sales experience in flooring, building products, or home decor, and B2B.

  • Experience managing a territory with multiple accounts and driving growth through dealer relationships.

  • Familiarity with specialty retail and/or interior design trade.

  • Proven ability to analyze sales data and execute strategic account plans.

  • Strong presentation skills and the ability to influence decision-makers.
