Yamaha Outboards has an excellent opportunity for a CRM and Email Marketing Specialist to join our Marine team in Kennesaw, GA. Yamaha Outboards is seeking a highly analytical, data driven, and creatively minded marketer who thrives in a fast-paced environment and brings a proactive, positive attitude to every project. This role plays a key part in shaping how Yamaha Outboards connects with consumers through smarter data, stronger insights, and meaningful digital touchpoints.
As the CRM & Email Marketing Specialist, you will own the given tactical strategy, planning, design, execution, and performance reporting for Yamaha Outboards outbound email and SMS programs across the U.S. market. This role will report to the Digital Marketing Manager. You'll work closely with the Digital Marketing Manager to plan, build, optimize, and scale communications that support key business priorities. This will include product education and brand storytelling to lead nurturing and purchase path conversions.
The ideal candidate is a motivated self-starter with a strong direct to consumer mindset and a passion for crafting personalized 1:1 consumer experience at scale. You'll bring exceptional attention to detail, natural curiosity, and the confidence to explore new digital marketing opportunities. You aren't afraid to run with ideas and understand Yamaha Outboards consumers, their ownership journey, and how to deliver content that drives engagement, loyalty, and demand for the industry's most trusted outboard brand.
What you'll be doing:
  • Execute CRM channel communications across email and SMS, aligned to Yamaha Outboards email campaign calendar.
  • Own day-to-day CRM activities including campaign setup, scheduling, Q/A testing, tagging, segmentation, and deployment of one-time, recurring, triggered, and dynamic content campaigns.
  • Plan, build, and publish monthly newsletter, including content coordination, layout assembly, and scheduling.
  • Monitor, analyze, and document campaign KPI's against established benchmarks, including Open Rate, Click-to-Open Rate, Conversions, and Unsubscribes.
  • Monitor live campaigns and journeys for any discrepancies, such as data issues, send errors, broken links and proactively troubleshoot or escalate as needed.
  • Identify, plan, and execute A/B tests to improve channel performance and uncover consumer insights.
  • Partner with the Digital Marketing Manager and Business Groups to understand CRM & email strategic priorities and develop digital workstreams that support Yamaha Outboards lifecycle marketing goals that align with our segmentations.
  • Align email & SMS communications with new product and model launches, ensuring coordinated messaging for both consumer and dealer audiences.
  • Manage and prioritize ad hoc requests while maintaining delivery expectations and deadlines.

What you need to be successful:
  • BA/BS degree in Marketing, Marketing Communications, related fields or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
  • 2+ years of experience in email marketing, digital marketing, or related fields.
  • Hands on experience with enterprise level platforms such as Salesforce Marketing Cloud and Tableau.
  • Working knowledge of CRM reporting and analytics platform (i.e. Tableau, Google Analytics).
  • Knowledge of developing and executing email (HTML) and SMS marketing campaign strategies.
  • Ability to interpret data, identify insights, and translate findings into actionable recommendations.
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to understand and support larger strategic objectives.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proven ability to independently and creatively problem solve to move projects forward.
  • Highly motivated self-starter with strong organization and multi-tasking capabilities.
  • Comfortable collaborating with multiple teams, stakeholders, and external partners.
  • Demonstrate ability to prioritize workload and meet deadlines across a variety of marketing deliverables.
