This position is fully onsite, with therapists providing care in patients’ homes across Dulles and surrounding areas. This setting allows for a close, personal interaction with patients and their families while ensuring that therapy regimens are followed in a familiar environment. • Conduct comprehensive evaluations and assessments of patients’ physical abilities, limitations, and needs in their home environment.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans utilizing a blend of exercises, stretching techniques, manual therapy, and specialized equipment tailored to enhance mobility and alleviate pain.
• Regularly document treatment sessions, patient responses, and progress towards established therapeutic goals.
• Reassess patient progress periodically and modify treatment plans as necessary to align with evolving patient needs and recovery milestones.
• Provide education and guidance to patients and their families on exercises, assistive devices, and self-care strategies to support rehabilitation goals.
• Engage in continuous professional development by attending workshops, pursuing ongoing education, and staying informed about advancements in the field of physical therapy.

As a Physical Therapist at Elixir Life, you will work primarily with a diverse population of patients undergoing rehabilitation post-injury, illness, or surgery. Your role is crucial in helping them regain independence and improve functional abilities, fostering a supportive environment throughout their recovery journey.

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.
• A valid state license to practice physical therapy.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and compassionately.
• Proficiency in computer systems and documentation software relevant to physical therapy.
• Flexibility, adaptability, and the capability to work autonomously in various patient home settings.

• While a minimum of two years of clinical experience is required, new graduates are welcome to apply, as mentorship and guidance will be provided.
• Experience working in home health or similar environments is beneficial but not mandatory.

The salary for this position ranges from $100,000 to $120,000 annually, reflecting your experience and expertise in the field.
