You will work onsite at our state-of-the-art Rehabilitation Center in Keansburg, New Jersey. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients in a rehabilitation setting and develop detailed and personalized treatment plans.
• Administer therapy utilizing various techniques, including but not limited to exercise routines, manual therapy, and use of therapeutic equipment, aimed at alleviating pain and enhancing mobility.
• Continuously monitor patient progress, documenting treatments and responses meticulously to ensure all therapeutic goals are met and adjusted as necessary.
• Educate patients and their families on treatment procedures, self-care techniques, and the utilization of assistive devices.
• Foster a strong rapport with patients and support staff by providing guidance and training on home care routines and therapy practices.
• Maintain current knowledge of best practices in physical therapy through ongoing professional development activities including workshops and networking.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The ideal candidate will work with a diverse range of patients, from children to elderly adults, recovering from various conditions including post-operative rehabilitation, sports injuries, and management of chronic pain. Our aim is to support each individual holistically, addressing both their physical and emotional needs as they navigate their recovery journey.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.
• A valid license to practice physical therapy in New Jersey.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, essential for effective patient interaction and documentation.
• Basic computer literacy, including proficiency with electronic medical records (EMR) systems and word processing software.
• A flexible and adaptable approach to changing environments and patient needs.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in a physical therapy setting.
• Experience conducting home care evaluations and treatments preferred, but not mandatory.
• Background in working with a diverse client population is advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits

This full-time position offers an attractive annual salary ranging from $100,000 to $120,000, complemented by a comprehensive benefits package.
