Job Summary/Description:

KOSA/First Alert 7/Telemundo 20 in Odessa-Midland, TX, is seeking a Media Executive to join our elite sales team. This role puts you face-to-face with local business owners, selling them marketing solutions to help them grow their business. We have top-of-the-line digital marketing products (Gray Digital Media) and powerful TV stations to do this. To be successful, you’ll need to be a hard worker who is motivated and eager to be the best.

Duties/Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: 

- 90% of your time will be spent developing new local direct.
- Consult with business owners, marketing and advertising executives, directors, and managers to develop and implement an effective digital marketing strategy for their business.
- Meet or exceed sales expectations, goals, and budgets, and manage your own book of sales revenue for retention and growth.
- Learn and master digital advertising products and tools (we are always innovating and growing), along with Gray Digital Media’s suite of digital services.
- Develop, retain, and grow client relationships in the Permian Basin and throughout the country.
- Manage your book of business using client management tools and software. Design, write, and present marketing proposals and PowerPoint presentations.
- Communicate and collaborate effectively across all KOSA/Gray Digital Media departments and support staff.

Qualifications/Requirements:

- Sales experience preferred
- Strong organizational, written, and presentation skills
- Be proficient in Microsoft Office products: Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
- Willingness to learn
- Strong Relationship-building, follow-up, and customer service skills are a must
- Self-starter with the ability to interact and influence others positively while working in a fast-paced environment
- High achiever with excellent communication skills, creativity, and persistence
- Strong work ethic and integrity
- Ability to exceed budget through new and existing business development
- Must possess a valid driver's license with a good driving record and no DUIs; MVR check required
- The candidate must have reliable transportation that meets the required insurance coverage needs
