Job Title: Emergency Medical Technician (EMT)
Location: Las Vegas, NV
Reports To: On-Duty Supervisor

Position Overview
As an Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) at Guardian Elite Medical Services, you will be responsible for providing compassionate, efficient, and high-quality pre-hospital care to patients in emergency and non-emergency settings. You will operate under established medical protocols and work collaboratively with other healthcare providers to ensure the safety and well-being of patients during transport and care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Respond promptly to emergency and non-emergency calls as directed by dispatch.
  • Assess, treat, and stabilize patients in accordance with state and company protocols.
  • Safely transport patients to medical facilities while providing ongoing care.
  • Maintain and operate ambulances and medical equipment in a safe, clean, and functional condition.
  • Complete accurate and thorough patient care reports and documentation.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, bystanders, and healthcare professionals.
  • Adhere to all local, state, and federal regulations as well as company policies and procedures.
  • Participate in training, continuing education, and company meetings as required.
  • Support special event medical coverage and other company initiatives as needed.

Qualifications

  • Current EMT certification (National Registry, Nevada State Certification, Southern Nevada Health District, or Compact State License).
  • Current CPR certification (American Heart Association or equivalent).
  • Valid Nevada driver’s license with a clean driving record.
  • Ability to meet the physical demands of the job, including lifting and moving patients and equipment.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a commitment to patient-centered care.
  • Ability to work effectively in high-pressure situations and as part of a team.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience in EMS or healthcare settings.
  • Familiarity with Nevada EMS protocols and guidelines.
