Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Full-Time Outpatient Physical Therapist to join our team at Joint Ventures Physical Therapy located in Fords, New Jersey. Work Environment

You will work onsite in a modern outpatient clinic environment, which fosters collaboration and communication among a diverse team of healthcare providers. Our facility is equipped with the latest rehabilitation technology and therapeutic tools, allowing you to implement effective treatment strategies. The clinic operates from 9 am to 5 pm, Monday through Friday, providing a structured yet dynamic work schedule that supports work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess individual patient needs through thorough evaluations, developing tailored treatment plans that include a variety of therapeutic techniques.
• Provide hands-on care using advanced manual therapy modalities to alleviate pain and restore mobility.
• Instruct patients on exercises and therapeutic activities, ensuring they are performed correctly to maximize benefits and reduce the risk of injury.
• Monitor patient progress through regular evaluations and adjust treatment plans accordingly, emphasizing evidence-based practices.
• Maintain accurate patient documentation using EMR software, particularly Web PT, to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and enhance communication within the healthcare team.
• Educate patients and their families about rehabilitation strategies and healthy lifestyle choices to promote long-term recovery and prevent relapses.
• Actively participate in team meetings and collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care.
• Encourage and motivate patients throughout their rehabilitation journey, fostering a supportive and empowering environment.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will primarily be working with adult patients who are recovering from orthopedic injuries, post-surgical rehabilitation, and various musculoskeletal conditions. Our clinic prides itself on providing individualized care that addresses the specific needs and concerns of each patient, making your role especially crucial in cultivating improved patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• Must have completed a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) program from an accredited institution.
• Possess an active Physical Therapist license in the state of New Jersey, with no history of sanctions or board proceedings.
• Exemplary knowledge of manual therapy techniques and a proven track record in creating customized exercise regimens.
• Ability to work effectively utilizing EMR systems, particularly Web PT, to streamline documentation and patient management.
• Stay informed and current with the latest physical therapy practice guidelines and innovative treatment approaches.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in an outpatient clinic setting, particularly in orthopedic or sports medicine.
• Demonstrated success in developing and executing rehabilitation programs that have positively impacted patient recovery and satisfaction.
• Familiarity with contemporary therapeutic interventions and a commitment to continuous professional development.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of USD 100,000 to 120,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
