The Experiential Creative Director is the strategic and creative lead responsible for shaping world‑class exhibition and event experiences across the healthcare and aerospace sectors. This role blends narrative craft, spatial storytelling, and industry‑specific insight to create immersive environments that elevate brand presence, simplify complex technologies, and drive meaningful audience engagement.

You will guide multidisciplinary teams —3D, digital, brand and experience design — to deliver concepts that are bold, human, and commercially effective.

Company Overview

This is Spiro. A strategically-led, creatively-driven, leading global experiential agency. We exist to cultivate powerful brand connections through the channel of experiential. We believe strong global communities are empowered by diversity, inclusion & belonging.

Together, we launch brands into their experiential orbit through the power of Brand Gravity.

  • Develop compelling experience narratives that translate complex healthcare and aerospace innovations into clear, emotionally resonant stories.
  • Craft overarching creative platforms that unify spatial design, content, technology, and attendee journey.
  • Lead ideation sessions, creative development, and pitch storytelling with clarity, confidence, and vision.
  • Champion narrative coherence across every touchpoint — from pre‑show engagement to in‑booth interactions.

Exhibition & Environmental Experience Design

  • Partner closely with 3D designers to shape spatial concepts, attendee flow, and architectural storytelling.
  • Translate brand strategy and technical product information into immersive physical environments.
  • Ensure creative intent is maintained through design development, prototyping, and fabrication.
  • Guide the integration of digital, interactive, and sensory elements that enhance the physical experience.
  • Understand regulatory, compliance, and communication nuances within healthcare exhibitions (pharma, med‑tech, diagnostics).
  • Interpret complex aerospace technologies, systems, and engineering narratives into accessible, engaging experiences.
  • Stay ahead of industry trends, audience expectations, and emerging technologies relevant to both sectors.

Cross‑Functional Collaboration

  • Work in tight partnership with 3D, strategy, content, motion, and production teams to deliver cohesive experiences.
  • Collaborate with client services and growth teams to shape pitch strategy and elevate creative quality.
  • Build strong client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor and creative ambassador.

Creative Direction Through Delivery

  • Review 3D outputs, content, and environmental storytelling to maintain quality and consistency.
  • Attend installations and show openings to ensure the final experience reflects the intended narrative.
  • Explore emerging experiential technologies, materials, and engagement formats relevant to exhibitions.
  • Drive experimentation and pilot new approaches that differentiate clients on the show floor.
  • Inspire teams with forward‑thinking creative methodologies and sector‑specific innovation.

Skills & Experience

  • Proven experience as a Creative Director or Senior Experiential Creative within exhibitions, events, or spatial storytelling.
  • Strong narrative craft with the ability to simplify complex healthcare or aerospace subject matter.
  • Deep understanding of exhibition design, attendee behaviour, and environmental storytelling.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate with 3D teams and translate ideas into spatial concepts.
  • Confident presenter with exceptional communication and storytelling skills.
  • Experience leading multidisciplinary teams and managing creative development from concept to execution.
  • Familiarity with Adobe creative tools and expertise in harnessing the power of AI technologies to visualise creative ideation
  • Possess the presence and experience to interface at executive level
  • Generate and present thought leadership on behalf of the agency
