QUALIFICATIONS:
  1. Must be qualified and certified to teach in the State of Michigan and possess the necessary educational background and certification for the position, as determined by the District.
  2. Possess a Michigan Teaching Certificate with one or more of the following endorsements: ZN (B-K), ZS (PK), ZA (PK-K), ZO (PK-3), ZG (K-5), ZE (K-6), ZC (K-8), ZP (3-6)
  3. Be willing and able to deliver effective classroom instruction that results in student learning and growth.
  4. Have a strong desire to work with elementary school-aged students and their parents.
  5. Be willing to participate in a variety of extra-curricular and co-curricular activities, including staff development, curriculum development, and clubs.
  6. Be willing to work as part of a building team for the improvement of instruction and to produce successful learners.
  7. Be open to continuous change.
  8. Be an excellent communicator with students, parents, and colleagues.
  9. Demonstrate mental/physical ability and stamina for meeting the requirements of the position.
