Expected Salary Range: $113,900.80 - $180,000.00ย 
About the Roleย 
Jaquith Consulting Group, Inc. (JCG) is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Senior Scheduler to support schedule oversight activities for JCGโ€™s clients. Under the direction of the Deputy Program Controls Director, you will focus on the review and analysis of Contractor schedules, monitoring of PCM schedule management efforts, and ensuring consistency with program requirements across the Project Controls Office within the Project Controls Scheduling branch.ย 
You will collaborate with project partners to evaluate schedule performance, develop Whatโ€‘if analyses, and maintain accurate, upโ€‘toโ€‘date program schedules. Your work will contribute directly to weekly and monthly progress reporting, strengthen schedule integrity across the program, and enhance the clientโ€™s ability to make informed and timely decisions that support successful project delivery.ย 
Key Responsibilitiesย 
  • Provide schedule development, maintenance of schedule data and reporting for JCG client schedulesย 
  • Identify, develop, and correlate program schedule activities with associated JCG client plansย 
  • Provide detail for the client's schedule activities based on the client's design plans to reflect the duration and the basis of the duration for construction of element activitiesย 
  • Update schedule data and durations as necessary and as design progresses to identify the basis for construction of element durationsย 
  • Provide periodic updates and documentation to the Program/Project Controlsย 
  • Manage progress, schedule duration changes, and duration verification basisย 
  • Provide schedule assumptions and general basis for schedule developmentย 
  • Identify key items which may not be included in structure schedules (such as utility relocations, environmental and or seasonal restrictions, or procurements)ย 
  • Perform review and analysis of current in-progress client schedules for correlation with future, planned client construction schedules (current construction duration estimates vs. future planned construction duration estimates)ย 
  • Perform review and analysis of client schedules for reliability, risk identification, risk review, and risk assessmentsย 
  • Provide recommendations for increased schedule reliabilityย 
  • Identify longest path and critical schedule itemsย 
  • Perform review and reporting tasks as required under direction of the Program Schedule Leadย 
Minimum Qualificationsย 
  • Bachelorโ€™s degree in construction management, Quantity Surveying or Engineering and 8 years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experienceย 
  • Ability to develop detailed construction schedules from preliminary and/or conceptual plans, develop and document basis of schedule development. ย 
  • Identify and document associated schedule risksย 
  • Provide recognizable and understandable work activities and sequencesย 
  • Meet required deadlines and deliverable datesย 
  • Document and communicate effectively with othersย 
  • Program and project schedule development and management experienceย 
  • Knowledge of rail and roadway transportation projects and disciplinesย 
  • Scheduling and project controls experienceย 
  • Ability to Identify and document associated schedule risks and provide recognizable and understandable work activities and sequencesย 
  • Ability to meet required deadlines and deliverable datesย 
  • Proficiency and knowledge of computer Software applications including Primavera P6, Microsoft (MS) Word, MS Excel, and MS Outlookย 
Preferred Qualificationsย 
  • Experience in developing detailed construction schedules from preliminary and/or conceptual plans, develop and document basis of schedule developmentย 
  • Knowledge of structures, construction means, methods, staging, procurements, and disciplinesย 
  • Experience in rail and rail systems construction, rail and roadway tunnel construction, rail and roadway bridge construction, retaining wall systems and other systems and structures associated with the operation of a railwayย
