Process Engineer opening in Columbia, SC for a well-established precision manufacturing organization. This is a hands-on technical role where you'll own electroplating and finishing operations — running lines, troubleshooting process failures, and driving continuous improvement. We need someone who understands the chemistry behind why a plating bath behaves the way it does, not just how to run one.

Requirements:
- 5+ years of electroplating/metal finishing experience
- Ability to explain the chemistry behind the process, not just execute it
- Gold, silver, or nickel preferred; hard chrome or zinc alloy considered
- Wastewater treatment experience required (licensure a plus)
- BS in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering; Associate's + 5 years experience considered
Role Duties:
- Set up, run, and optimize plating and finishing lines
- Troubleshoot process issues and lead root cause analysis
- Develop and maintain technical documentation and work procedures
- Support wastewater treatment operations
- Provide hands-on guidance and mentoring to operators
