Job description

Mu-Del Electronics in looking for a RF Electronics Test Technician to test, tune, and troubleshoot millimeter-wave active/passive components and sub-systems covering a wide frequency spectrum from DC to 40 GHz, including RF switches, Up/Down Converters and Multicouplers. The technician will record and maintain test data, generate performance reports, and follow configuration management and Electrostatic Discharge (ESD) protocols. The candidate must be able to manage, track, and execute multiple priorities within schedule requirements. The technician will collaborate with engineers to perform root cause analysis and recommend design or process improvements.

Key Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 3+ years of relevant experience in a manufacturing environment
  • In-depth understanding of RF concepts such as impedance matching, impedance transformation, distributed systems, passive RLC and resonant circuits, noise, linearity, bandwidth, and stability
  • Ability to learn RF filter tuning (lumped component and cavity)
  • Experience of RF and microwave test equipment including network analyzers and spectrum analysis, noise figure; familiarity with RF tuning and filter testing is a plus
  • Excellent hardware and software debugging skills
  • Quick/strong self-learning capability of new things and new skills, high attention to detail
  • Excellent people, written and communications skills
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a fast paced, innovative environment
  • Demonstrated ability to take initiative and responsibility in a team environment


Must be able to pass background screening, Green Card holders or US Citizens only.


Compensation is commensurate with experience and qualifications.
