Job description

Electronic Test Technician – TUALCOM

Sterling, Virginia, USA

To be open, honest, up-front & transparent from the beginning, due both to the nature of the role and company policy, this position will be based 5 days per week in our offices in Sterling, Virginia.

About TUALCOM:

At TUALCOM, you’ll have the chance to work on technologies that truly make an impact - our “world’s smallest” anti-jamming GNSS systems, advanced RF and microwave communications solutions, and mission-critical products used across defense, law enforcement, and aerospace sectors. We don’t just follow trends; we set them through state-of-the-art production and the highest quality standards.

Join a fast-growing global company with offices in Türkiye, the UK, USA, Germany, and Poland. You’ll work with experts worldwide, contribute to international projects, and see your efforts shape products trusted by leading organizations in defense and beyond. If you’re passionate about innovation and ready to make an impact, TUALCOM is the place to grow your career in production and technical operations.

What You Will Do:

In this role, you’ll be hands-on with testing, assembly, and integration - working with RF, microwave, and electronic technologies using tools like spectrum analyzers, signal generators, and oscilloscopes to check performance, fix issues, and improve results. You’ll handle PCB builds, soldering, cable harnessing, and mechanical assembly with precision, as well as configure hardware, roll out software updates, and keep databases accurate.

Most importantly, you’ll be the go-to problem-solver, using your technical know-how, attention to detail, and proactive approach to keep everything running smoothly.

What TUALCOM look for in an Electronics Test Technician:

We’re looking for a hands-on Electronics Test Technician with proven testing and assembly experience, gained through an apprenticeship, HSD/GED, or equivalent – an associate degree in Electronics Technology, Electrical Engineering, or a related field is preferred.

You’ll have strong knowledge of electronic, RF, and microwave technologies, be confident with test instruments, and bring the problem-solving skills and attention to detail to get it right the first time.

You’ll need to work independently, hit deadlines, and communicate clearly, with security vetting required and defense experience a big plus.

Preferably, you’ll have an IPC Certification (e.g., IPC-A-610, IPC J-STD-001) or willingness to complete this with us.

Experience with ERP systems and electronic documentation tools, and knowledge of basic programming or scripting for test automation or system control are also highly beneficial.

Interested?

We’re looking for a practical, detail-driven Electronics Test Technician who’s confident with testing, assembly, and integration, and whothrives on problem-solving.

If you’ve got the skills, curiosity, and drive to work on mission-critical products in a high-growth environment, we’d love to hear from you.

Apply now and help us shape the future of RF and GNSS technology.
