Job description

Job Summary:

We are searching for a well-organized, reliable electronics technician to be part of our team. The electronics technician's responsibilities include diagnosing and repairing electronics, reading manuals and installing new equipment, performing routine servicing and inspections, assisting with training, recruitment, and electronic upgrades, and reporting to the supervisor. You should be able to provide excellent customer service and manage electronic systems and equipment efficiently.

To be successful as an electronics technician, you should demonstrate strong technical and mechanical skills and enjoy performing tasks with your hands. Outstanding electronics technicians are able to use a wide range of resources to solve problems and feel comfortable working alone and in a team.

Duties/Responsibilities:
  • Troubleshoot and perform electronic repairs to include monitors, mother boards, and various other components on game equipment
  • Perform bench work and off-site installations/repairs
  • Prepare machines for off-site installations, participate in delivery, and installation of equipment at customer sites
  • Field and troubleshoot service calls
  • Perform preventive maintenance
  • Electronically document work performed
Required Skills/Abilities:
  • Experience with electronics repair at the PC board level
  • Minimum of one to two years' experience
  • The ability to read and understand electronics schematics
  • Attention to detail
  • The ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions
  • Must pass background check
  • Must have valid Driver's License and a clean driving record
  • The ability to work independently

Education and Experience:

  • Electronics degree or equivalent training and experience
  • Skill or experience reading and interpreting diagrams such as technical drawings or schematics.
  • Experience performing various types of maintenance
Physical Requirements:
  • Prolonged periods of standing
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds regularly
