Essential Functions

  • Operate and monitor SMT and electronics manufacturing equipment used in the production of circuit card assemblies (CCAs).

  • Maintain and operate complex electronics assembly machinery using established procedures, schematics, and approved documentation.

  • Adjust machine settings and parameters to support production requirements and ensure quality output.

  • Perform machine set-up and material loading for electronic components and circuit boards.

  • Conduct routine preventive maintenance and basic troubleshooting on SMT equipment.

  • Perform off-line material setup and feeder preparation as required.

  • Review work instructions and technical documentation to ensure accurate component placement and manufacturing processes.

  • Support training of other operators on electronics manufacturing equipment.

  • Participate in continuous improvement and Lean manufacturing initiatives.

Qualifications / Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.

  • Ability to read and follow technical work instructions and manufacturing documentation.

  • Ability to lift or move materials up to 20 lbs.

  • Ability to work overtime as required.

  • Ability to work in an electronics manufacturing environment.

  • This role may encounter high risk or hazardous operations and/or include working shifts beyond a standard workweek. As such, a requirement of the role is to be at least 18 years of age by the time of joining.

Desired Skills / Experience

  • Experience operating SMT or electronics manufacturing equipment (pick-and-place, screen printers, reflow ovens, etc.).

  • Experience working with printed circuit boards or circuit card assemblies.

  • 3-5 years of experience in electronics manufacturing or similar production environments.

  • Familiarity with component handling, feeder setup, and electronic production processes.
