Description

Electronics Technician Position Summary We are seeking a hands-on Electronics Technician to support engineering and testing activities. This role involves electronic component repair, troubleshooting, test equipment operation, harness fabrication, mechanical assembly, and documentation of test assets and controllers. Key Responsibilities Solder and replace small electronic components, including surface-mount devices (0805, 0402, and similar packages). Perform hot air rework and reflow repairs, including IC replacement. Assist engineers in diagnosing and root-causing failed electrical components and assemblies. Operate bench lab equipment such as power supplies, oscilloscopes, load boxes, and flash/programming tools. Design, build, and repair wire harnesses as required. Build and maintain test boxes, breakout boards, and other test fixtures. Assemble and disassemble electronic controllers using common hand tools. Manage multiple controllers and projects simultaneously while maintaining accurate status documentation. Follow established quality, safety, and testing procedures.
