About the Opportunity
Zenar Corporation is looking for a Human Resources Intern to gain hands-on experience across all areas of HR in a manufacturing environment. This is a developmental opportunity for someone interested in building a long-term career in Human Resources and gaining exposure to the day-to-day responsibilities of an HR Generalist.
Working closely with the Sr. Human Resources Generalist and Director of Human Resources, you will receive mentorship, learn HR best practices, and progressively take on more responsibility throughout the internship.
This internship is designed to prepare you for a future full-time Human Resources Generalist opportunity.
What You'll Do
  • Assist with recruiting and onboarding, including scheduling interviews and pre-employment testing, preparing new hire materials, and supporting orientation.
  • Maintain employee records and assist with employee status, pay, department, and job title changes in the B2E HCM system.
  • Assist with benefits administration, including new hire enrollment, eligibility tracking, employee communications, and open enrollment preparation.
  • Maintain confidential employee documentation and develop an understanding of employment laws, company policies, and HR best practices.
  • Help coordinate safety training, maintain training records, and assist with OSHA-related documentation and required certifications.
  • Support day-to-day HR administration, including filing, reporting, employee communications, meeting coordination, and company events.
  • Participate in HR projects and process improvement initiatives.
  • Shadow and learn from experienced HR professionals across all major areas of Human Resources.
