  Join Our Quality Team Klesk Metal Stamping Company is looking for an Experienced Quality Inspector to join our Quality/Inspection team. This is a hands-on role for an experienced quality professional who takes pride in accuracy, attention to detail, and maintaining high manufacturing standards. You'll inspect metal stamped parts and materials, use precision measuring equipment, interpret blueprints and GD&T requirements, document inspection results, and work closely with Production, Quality, Engineering, and Toolroom teams to identify and resolve quality issues.

Klesk serves customers across industries including aerospace, medical, electronics, telecommunications, construction, dental, government, and more. What You'll Do - Perform first-piece, in-process, final, and other required inspections - Inspect metal stamped parts and components for compliance with drawings, specifications, and customer requirements - Use precision inspection equipment including micrometers, calipers, indicators, height gauges, pin gauges, fixtures, and vision systems - Read and interpret blueprints, dimensions, tolerances, and GD&T - Accurately document inspection results and maintain quality records - Identify, document, and communicate nonconforming products and quality concerns - Support containment, sorting, reinspection, and disposition activities - Assist with root-cause investigations and corrective actions - Partner with Production, Engineering, Toolroom, and Quality teams to resolve issues - Maintain inspection equipment and support calibration awareness - Help train or coach less-experienced inspectors or operators when needed - Support continuous improvement and quality system effectiveness - Follow all safety, quality, customer, and work instruction requirements What We're Looking For - 4+ years of experience in quality inspection, manufacturing inspection, or a related quality role - Strong experience using micrometers, calipers, indicators, gauges, and other precision measuring tools - Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, dimensions, and tolerances - Working knowledge of GD&T - Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy - Ability to identify defects and nonconforming product - Strong documentation and communication skills - Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities - Sound judgment when determining when issues require containment, escalation, or clarification - Reliable attendance, strong work ethic, and commitment to safety and quality - Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office or related systems Preferred Experience - Metal stamping or precision manufacturing - Advanced GD&T and blueprint reading - Vision systems, optical comparators, CMM, or other advanced inspection equipment - ISO, aerospace, medical, or other regulated manufacturing environments - First Article Inspection, PPAP, corrective action, or customer quality requirements - ERP, inspection documentation, or electronic quality systems - Training or mentoring junior inspectors or production employees Physical Requirements This position requires the ability to stand, walk, sit, bend, reach, move throughout the shift, visually inspect small or detailed parts, use precision measuring tools for extended periods, and safely handle metal parts in a manufacturing environment.
