  • Candidates must hold or be eligible to hold a teaching license in the CTE Electronics license area (74040).
  • Non-licensed, provisional candidates are eligible based upon holding a related Bachelor's Degree with a minimum 2.5 GPA and two years of industry-related work experience.
  • Non-licensed, provisional candidates are eligible based upon holding a related Associate's Degree with a minimum 2.5 GPA and four years of industry-related work experience.
  • Non-licensed, provisional candidates are eligible based upon holding a High School Diploma and six years of industry-related work experience.
  • Related degrees include:
  • Electronics Engineering Technology, Electronics Engineering, Digital Electronics

Work experience examples include:
  • Electronics industry experience with demonstrated experience in troubleshooting and repairing electronics components.
