Job description

Our client, a leader in high-reliability electronic component manufacturing, is seeking a dedicated Production Technician to join their team. As a Production Technician, you will be part of the Manufacturing Department supporting quality assurance and production processes. The ideal candidate will demonstrate attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Production Technician

Location: Duluth, MN

Pay Range: $23/hr

Shift: M-F 7am-3:30pm

What's the Job?

  • Perform electrical testing of high-reliability power supplies and similar equipment using oscilloscopes, multimeters, and custom test equipment.
  • Conduct board and component-level testing of printed circuit board assemblies.
  • Carry out military standard qualification testing and environmental testing of electronic components.
  • Test space-grade magnetic components and products using environmental chambers, thermal shock chambers, shock and vibration systems, and vacuum chambers.
  • Diagnose and repair field returns, providing technical support to production operators.

What's Needed?

  • 1 – 2 years of related experience in electronics testing or a similar field.
  • Applied knowledge of job skills, company policies, and procedures.
  • Associate degree in electronics technology or significant relevant experience; new graduates are encouraged to apply.
  • Ability to work with engineers to develop test jigs, tooling, and procedures for new products.
  • Participation in quality improvement initiatives and maintenance activities.
