Job description

This position is responsible for the repair, modification, and change parts on electronic units

Shift - Monday thru Friday 6am - 2pm EST


Roles & Responsibilities

• Analyze failed phone according to established methods and procedures
• Resolve technical issues within time schedule and provide the break and fix solution using OEM standard
• Able to dis-assemble and re-assemble Cell Phone into a good cosmetic housing
• Able to remove LCD from back-housing and replace them with a new one
• Able to remove mother-board and battery
• Able to replace screws and make component replacements
• Must be flexible to do other assigned responsibility depending on where need

Essential Skills and Experience:

• ESD knowledge from previous job and ability to pass ESD exam
• Complete understanding of phone components
• Must be detail oriented with quality assurance focus in order to deliver quality repairs
• Must have basic trouble shooting skills-Must have Rework experience of cell phones
• Must have basic computer skills and able to document repairs done of the cell phones
• Ability and availability to work irregular or extended hours including nights, weekends and potentially holidays as needed by the customer


Minimum Qualifications
  • Ability to operate test equipment.
  • Ability to read some schematics.
  • Good manual dexterity.
  • Possess soldering and de-soldering skills is a plus
  • Excellent analytical skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Must be able to perform both surface mount and thru-hole soldering techniques, as well as operate automated repair equipment (BGA machine).
  • Computer skills are a must for accurate data entry of completed units.
