Job description

About the Role

Currently the position involves assisting SEW-EURODRIVE customers, as well as SEW-EURODRIVE regional technical and sales to support SEW-EURODRIVE's electronics and mechanical products via technical service and application support. This position will require frequent travel and is located near Denver, CO in our Broomfield office.

Pay Range: $65,000 - $68,000

Shift: 1st

Education: Associates or Bachelor Degree in Electronic/Electrical Engineering or similar or a related field is preferred.

TOP most relevant SKILLS AND ABILITIES being sought for this position:

Ability to operate various test instruments, i.e., multimeters, oscilloscopes, strip chart recorders, etc.
Must have experience with AC variable frequency controllers and servo motor controllers.
Must become knowledgeable in the applications of the customers' equipment.
Must become knowledgeable in and use SEW-EURODRIVE computer programs including CAD, word processing, database and engineering.
Must exhibit good logical technical knowledge and organizational skills.
Knowledge of various types of PLC's, Motion Controllers and ability to troubleshoot and modify programs.

Must have valid driver's license with driving record acceptable to SEW-Eurodrive.
Must have good presentation skills to speak in front of customers.

Ability to work in various customer production environments, i.e., steel mills, automotive, amusement parks, food and beverage plants etc.
Must follow all SEW-EURODRIVE safety rules, OSHA guidelines, and all rules in effect when visiting a customer's facility. It is the employee's responsibility to assess each situation and to not perform any tasks which s/he feels is unsafe, on which they have not received training, or to engage in any unsafe work practices.

Assist SEW-EURODRIVE sales engineers and customers with applications, troubleshoot and product expertise.
Maintain technical information relating to SEW-EURODRIVE products and applications based upon products assigned.
Perform service calls in all five regions of the North American SEW-EURODRIVE organization.
