ABOUT THE JOB
We are seeking a Process and Mechatronics Technology Engineer to support and improve manufacturing and automation processes. This role is intentionally structured to split time between process engineering responsibilities and hands-on mechatronics / automation support, with a strong emphasis on working directly with production equipment on the factory floor.
This position is ideal for an engineer with 2-3 years of experience who is comfortable troubleshooting automation, supporting equipment, programming and owning day-to-day process performance in a manufacturing environment.
SHIFT: 1 st Shift
RESPONSIBILITIES
Process Engineering
  • Support and improve manufacturing processes with regard to yield, quality, and throughput
  • Monitor process performance and assist with defining operating limits and controls
  • Participate in root cause investigations related to process variation or equipment issues
  • Support process documentation, work instructions, and controlled change activities
  • Initiate and maintain Process Failure Modes and Effects Analysis (FMEA)
  • Process characterization and validation (IQ/OQ/PQ)
  • Support manufacturing by aiding in repair of technical equipment to minimize downtime
  • Support OpEx and Ops with Continuous Improvement Initiatives

Mechatronics & Equipment Support
  • Support, modify, and troubleshoot automated manufacturing equipment, including:
    • Robotics (e.g., Epson or similar)
    • Manufacturing e-test software
    • Equipment control and support software
  • Troubleshoot issues involving electrical, mechanical, sensor, and software interfaces
  • Read and interpret electrical schematics and wiring diagrams
  • Support equipment upgrades, improvements, and commissioning activities
  • Interface with technicians, maintenance, and engineering peers to resolve production issues

QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechatronics Engineering Technology, Manufacturing Engineering Technology, Mechanical Engineering Technology, or related discipline
  • 2-3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Experience with:
    • C#, VB, Python, or PLC adjacent programming
    • Industrial robots (Epson preferred)
    • Manufacturing test systems
    • Basic PLC data interaction or industrial communications
  • Familiarity with SPC, Lean, and continuous improvement activities

SALARY RANGE: $67,000-$97,000. This is the full salary range for the position.
Final compensation will be determined based on factors such as experience, skills, education, and internal equity.
