POSITION: Customer Service Agent

Techniseal is experiencing significant growth and offers permanent employment opportunities with a comprehensive benefits package. Reporting to the Customer Service Supervisor, the incumbent will be responsible for the following duties:

 Responsibilities
    • Provide efficient customer service via email and telephone.
    • Respond to pricing inquiries and inventory availability requests.
    • Obtain transportation cost quotations.
    • Communicate daily with customers and company representatives.
    • Recommend the products that best meet customer needs.
     Order Entry and Processing
    • Enter customer orders into the ERP system.
      • Verify the accuracy of order entries against purchase orders (product codes, pricing, descriptions).
      • Review agreements and contracts for exceptions.
      • Calculate transportation costs based on order details.
      • Ensure inventory availability and location (sand products).
     Transportation Coordination
    • Plan and coordinate transportation.
      • Prepare all documentation required for product shipments.
      • Calculate freight rates according to applicable rate schedules.
      • Monitor and follow up on deliveries.
     Administrative Support
    • Perform various administrative and related tasks in support of the Customer Service Department.
     QualificationsRequired
    • Fully bilingual (French and English).
    • Customer service experience, preferably in an industrial/manufacturing environment.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word and Excel) and Outlook.
    • High School Diploma (DES) or equivalent.
     Asset Qualifications
    • Experience within a large retail and distribution organization and familiarity with EDI (Electronic Data Interchange).
    • Education or experience in transportation/logistics.
    • Knowledge of an ERP system.
     Skills and Competencies
    • Strong written communication skills and excellent grammar in both French and English.
    • Customer-focused with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
    • Dynamic team player with a strong collaborative mindset.
    • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage priorities effectively.
