Electronic Assembler | Wooster, OH
We are seeking an Electronic Assembler to join our partner company. This is a short-term position with the potential for hire-in. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in electronics manufacturing and a strong attention to detail when working with small components.
Schedule:
This position runs MondayThursday, 2:0o pm - 12:30 am
Must be able to train on first shift 6a-230p for a few months then move to 2nd shift.
Pay range is $16.50 - $20.00/hour. Based on experience.
Summary of Duties:
Assemble, solder, and wire circuit boards, wire harnesses, and small panel units.
Follow layouts, schematics, and documentation to ensure accurate assembly.
Clean, coat, and prep circuit boards as required.
Operate machines to cut, strip, tin wire, and crimp terminals.
Perform inspections and repairs of post-wave boards.
Encapsulate assemblies (potting) and use both hand and power tools.
Maintain a clean and organized work area while observing safety standards.
Complete documentation, follow procedures, and communicate issues as needed.
Qualifications:
High School diploma or equivalent.
Previous experience in electronics assembly preferred.
Ability to read schematics and identify electronic components.
Strong hand-eye coordination; comfortable working with small parts.
Ability to solder and de-solder using various equipment (preferred).
Must be detail-oriented, able to work independently, and communicate effectively.
Color recognition and ability to read part numbers required.
Physical Requirements:
Regular sitting, standing, bending, and reaching throughout the day.
Ability to occasionally lift up to 50 lbs.
Must have good vision, including color recognition and close-focus ability.
