Lab Quality Technician 2nd Shift

Where you'll be:
This position will be based in Springfield, TN
All about the role:
Perform and record consumer related testing on both components and full cooking appliances. Knowledge of inspection, testing, or general laboratory procedures is necessary to be successful in this role. Specific duties include but are not limited to.
What you'll do:
  • Execute testing on cooking products according to a test plan/schedule in terms of functionality, safety and performance.
  • Perform visual audits before, during, and after testing.
  • Maintain detailed documentation of testing results, unit history and other information as required.
  • Responsible for reporting all issues with test units to supervision.
  • Interact with cross-functional teams, and shares knowledge.
  • Actively participates in NPI (New Product Introduction) activities with testing and training.
  • Support Cost reduction and Quality improvement activities.

Qualifications:
  • Associate's degree in a technical field or High School/GED and (4) years of experience in manufacturing, product test, or quality field.
  • Able to read and write in English
  • Able to stand for most of the shift.
  • Able to work with little direct supervision
  • Able to bend, stoop, grip, reach and lift up to 35 lbs. on a repetitive basis
