The Systems Integration Lead is part of the Advanced System Teams. The Advanced System Team's mission is to develop and implement innovative vehicle systems and advanced technology solutions that solves our customer greatest challenges by utilizing innovative and reliable HYDAC hydraulic, electronic, control and fluid conditioning solutions optimized for the mobile market.

The Systems Integration Lead will work closely with each of the Product Divisions and Sales teams to develop advanced controls and fluid power systems including equipment/vehicle automation and electrification. This position will work with customers to understand the customers' needs, capture the vehicle requirements and develop the system approach at the vehicle level. This position will work with a group of multi-disciplinary engineers in developing solutions including electronics, software, fluid power, etc. technologies.


You will make an impact in this role by:

  • Work with the customers and sales group in determining and documenting the customer's needs and requirements.
  • Develop and propose the fluid power and electronic controls approach to the vehicle system architecture.
  • Develop and present system proposals.
  • Perform vehicle system FMEA's.
  • Assist customers with system functional safety analysis and drive system architecture and components
  • requirements accordingly.
  • Work with controls team to develop software requirements.
  • Organize and perform the design, installation, debugging and validation of systems.
  • Interface with Germany on key technologies and system approaches.
  • Work on developing standard advanced systems and subsystems integrating our different product groups (i.e. - steer by wire solutions).
  • Provide Voice of Customer (VoC) to our Product Divisions for new product development.
  • Represent HYDAC with customers and accompany Sales Managers to customer locations selling our technology and advanced systems.
  • Aid the Application Engineer-System in the sales organization on advanced technology and system solutions.
  • Present TecDay modules to our customer base.

Requirements

To be considered for the Systems Integration Lead role, you must have the following minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (Master's degree is preferred)
  • Electronics and fluid power knowledge
  • Minimum of 5 year of experience developing electrohydraulic solutions for vehicle

Salary is commiserate with experience with base salary compensation between $130,000 to $145,000.
