Job Description

The Site Installation Supervisor II is a self-managing, high energy individual who is responsible for electrical and general installation activities on-site for BEUMER system projects as assigned. This is a significant role providing key support for the project management team and will have on-going, direct contact with the customer. The Site Installation Supervisor coordinates the activities of contractors and workers engaged in the installation or modification of supplied equipment while ensuring that the highest quality of work is provided in the safest manner possible to meet project goals. Installation includes conveyors, integrated systems and third party or customer equipment on site.

At times, the Site Installation Supervisor role could be the lead on a site or part of a team with another lead.
This position will be based at Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport (CVG) for the duration of the initial project. Upon completion at CVG, the role will require travel to other domestic and international sites as needed. Candidates should anticipate travel commitments of up to 90% of the time thereafter.
Responsibilties:

Leadership and Teamwork:

  • Provide day-to-day management of installation activities while keeping the Project Manager and project team informed of progress, risks, and changes.
  • Promote safe, reliable construction practices in full compliance with BEUMER objectives, policies, and all applicable codes and regulations.
  • Execute work in accordance with the assigned project scope and contract authorization; collaborate with project stakeholders to ensure commitments are delivered on time and within budget.
  • Document contractor crew activities and prepare accurate periodic oral and written status reports.
  • Support the Team Leader or Project Manager with project and administrative management tasks as required.
  • Participate in project kick-off and closeout meetings.
  • Develop and maintain effective professional relationships with site personnel, customers, and subcontractors, serving as BEUMER’s on-site representative.
  • Follow claims and change management processes, ensuring all deviations are properly documented and reported to project management.
  • Ensure adherence to BEUMER Group project processes and procedures.
  • Assign tasks to workers and coordinate workflows to meet project schedules.
  • Promote and maintain a clean, organized, and properly inventoried job site while ensuring contractor compliance.
  • Review installation documentation with subcontractors and ensure redline drawings are maintained and kept up to date.
  • Coordinate reviews of drawings, RFQs, and quality control checklists with contractors and fellow supervisors.
  • Support equipment startup and commissioning activities.

Technical and Quality:

  • Review electrical drawing packages prior to project start to ensure readiness and constructability.
  • Ensure the highest level of electrical installation quality in accordance with project specifications and standards.
  • Perform equipment layout using supplied drawings and project documentation.
  • Monitor all electrical installation activities and respond proactively to ensure total customer satisfaction.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve electrical installation issues, determining the most efficient resolution path to restore optimal system performance.
  • Coordinate with Engineering disciplines (electrical, mechanical, software) and third-party vendors to address system-related issues.
  • Verify that all materials used and work performed meet project specifications.

Compensation range: $90,000.00 - $100,000.00 Annually 

The posted salary range reflects the compensation the company reasonably expects to offer for this position. Actual compensation will not be less than the posted minimum and will be based on multiple factors.

  • 8+ years of Electro/Mechanical experience
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • Ability to interpret construction and electrical drawings.
  • Ability to interpret electrical line diagrams.
  • Ability to troubleshoot electrical issues.

    • Working on narrow catwalks
    • Performing tasks at heights exceeding six feet
    • Working in hot and cold weather

Required Certifications / Licenses

  • OSHA 30 Certification
  • First Aid / CPR Certification or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire.
  • Valid Driver's License (Must be able to meet insurance underwriting requirements)
