Job Summary
Loenbro is hiring an Electrical Service Technician to perform the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of electrical systems while delivering high-quality service and technical expertise across a variety of commercial and industrial projects. This role works closely with project managers, supervisors, customers, and field personnel to coordinate service work, ensure projects are completed safely and efficiently, and maintain exceptional customer satisfaction. The Electrical Service Technician is responsible for performing electrical installations independently and, when required, leading and mentoring journeyman and apprentice electricians by providing technical guidance, coordinating daily activities, and ensuring work is completed in compliance with applicable codes, project specifications, and company safety standards. The ideal candidate is a skilled electrician with strong leadership abilities, excellent problem-solving skills, and a commitment to delivering safe, reliable, and high-quality service while supporting project success and operational excellence.
Essential Job Responsibilities
  • Perform layout, plan, and execute small jobs while leading a small crew
  • Make generic written estimates of time, materials, and manpower required to complete service tasks
  • Communicate with vendors, engineers, owners, service managers, and other contractors to ensure jobs are completed within scope and on budget
  • Develop and maintain respectful, positive working relationships with clients and identify sales opportunities
  • High attention to detail and strong interpersonal skills
  • Self-motivated and flexibility to adapt to fast-paced, ever-changing business environment

Required:
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Current Texas State electrical journeyman license
  • Minimum 4 years documented field work or completion of 4-year electrical apprentice program
  • Excellent understanding of the electrical industry
  • Previous foreman, leadman, or supervisory experience preferred.

Work Environment:
  • Outdoor construction setting with exposure to noise, dust, chemicals, extreme weather, uneven terrain, and other environmental factors.
  • Frequent visits to outdoor construction sites with exposure to weather extremes.
  • If driving is required, valid driver license and proof of insurability is required. All drivers are subject to a DMV background records search.
