Job description

Electrical Project Manager / Industrial Leadership Role

Location: Charleston, SC or Columbia, SC

Overview

We are currently partnering with an established industrial contractor in South Carolina to identify an experienced Electrical Project Manager to support industrial project operations across the Charleston and Columbia regions.

This role is best suited for a proven construction professional with strong leadership capability, solid field understanding, and the ability to manage multiple moving parts in a fast-paced industrial environment.

Technical depth will be assessed during the interview process, with emphasis placed on leadership, communication, and project execution experience.

Responsibilities

  • Lead electrical and/or industrial construction projects from planning through completion
  • Coordinate field operations, schedules, and manpower needs
  • Support estimating, budgeting, and job cost tracking activities
  • Manage project documentation including RFIs, change orders, and progress reporting
  • Collaborate with field leadership, subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams
  • Ensure projects remain on schedule, within scope, and aligned with quality expectations
  • Maintain strong client communication throughout project lifecycle
  • Support project closeout and turnover processes
  • Uphold and enforce all company safety policies and OSHA requirements
