Job description

Frencken America Mechatronics is seeking a Project Manager to join our Engineering team. This position is responsible for dayโ€‘toโ€‘day execution, project cost, quality, risk, safety, and schedule management of engineering projects and for facilitating project administration from quotation phase through prototype phase.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
  • Review customer RFQ and prepare required documentation, such as submittals, bid packages, contracts, invoices, change orders, and other administrative requirements.
  • Develop and maintain detailed project plans, including timelines, milestones, resource allocation, with adherence to ISO9001:2015 quality controls and documentation requirements.
  • Manage multiple concurrent projectsโ€™ progress and performance, providing regular status updates.
  • Identify and mitigate project risks and issues, implementing corrective actions as necessary.
  • Provide project support to procurement and production teams as needed.
  • Coordinate and communicate with stakeholders, including clients, team members, and senior management, to ensure project alignment and transparency.
KEY REQUIREMENTS
  • Bachelorโ€™s degree in Engineering or related technical discipline.
  • Five (5) years of project management experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Knowledge of electrical and mechanical manufacturing processes.
  • Ability to read and understand plans and specifications.
  • Excellent timeโ€‘management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Project, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and CAD software.
