Job Summary:
We are seeking a Manufacturing Planning Engineer to support the integration of engineering changes into manufacturing processes. This role focuses on reviewing engineering drawings, interpreting specifications, and developing accurate manufacturing work instructions to support electrical manufacturing.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review and coordinate engineering drawings and planning changes into manufacturing work instructions
  • Interpret and understand specification documents, including critical terminology related to electrical manufacturing
  • Manage and process manufacturing planning requirements
  • Develop and update manufacturing planning to incorporate engineering requirements and changes
  • Ensure alignment between engineering design and manufacturing execution
  • Maintain regular and predictable attendance

Required Skills:

  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting BDS and BCA process and specification documents for engineering design systems
  • Strong ability to manage and process manufacturing planning requirements
  • Experience developing manufacturing planning execution aligned with engineering changes

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience supporting VC25B, AH64, and/or STL programs
  • Hands-on experience with Manufacturing Execution System Common Image (MESCI)
  • Knowledge of Boeing production systems across multiple sites
  • Familiarity with electrical fabrication processes

Education & Experience:

  • Typically requires an Associate degree with 3+ years of related experience, or
  • Bachelor’s degree with 1+ years of related experience, or
  • Equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g., 5+ years of relevant experience)
