What You'll Do:

  • Support and lead design tasks for municipal water and wastewater infrastructure, including, treatment facilities, pump stations, water distribution systems, wastewater collection systems, and stormwater conveyance and management systems
  • Perform hydraulic modeling, pipeline design, site layout, grading, and preparation of construction drawings and technical specifications.
  • Evaluate and troubleshoot system operations to develop practical recommendations for rehabilitation, optimization, and replacement
  • Assist in project planning, alternatives analysis, cost estimating, and preparation of engineering reports and permitting documents
  • Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, including mechanical, electrical, structural, environmental, survey, and geotechnical teams, to support project delivery
  • Support construction phase services through submittal review, RFI responses, field observations, and coordination with subcontractors
  • Assist clients with identifying and pursuing funding opportunities, preparing supporting documentation, and navigating agency requirements
  • Mentor junior engineers by providing technical guidance and quality review
  • Maintain strong client relationships by delivering high-quality work, timely communication, and reliable followthrough on project responsibilities
  • Ensure project work is completed accurately, on schedule, and aligned with client expectations

What You'll Bring:

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineeringor a related field
  • PE Registration inOregonor the ability to obtainanOregonLicense within 1 year
  • 5+ years of experience in municipal infrastructure
  • Experience in infrastructure rehabilitation and utility coordination
  • Proficiency with industry tools such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and hydraulic/hydrologic modeling software (InfoWater, HECRAS, or similar).
  • Experience preparing engineering reports, construction documents, and permitting packages
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including clientfacing
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with multidisciplinary teams
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and support multiple project managers

Salary Range:
