Job description

Electrical Engineer
Position Summary
The Electrical Engineer is responsible for the design, development, and support of electrical control systems for mobile drilling equipment and related products. This role works closely with engineering, production, and service teams to develop reliable electrical systems, troubleshoot issues, and support new product development.
Key Responsibilities
Design, implement, and maintain electrical control systems for mobile drilling equipment.
Develop and maintain electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and harness drawings.
Troubleshoot electrical system failures and perform root cause analysis.
Support production, testing, commissioning, and field service activities.
Assist with controller programming and control system development.
Collaborate with engineering, production, and service teams to improve product performance and reliability.
Support multiple engineering projects simultaneously while meeting project deadlines.
Adhere to company engineering standards, processes, and documentation requirements.
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Engineering Technology, or related field preferred.
5+ years of electrical design experience in mobile equipment, industrial equipment, or related industries.
Experience with 12V/24V electrical systems.
Knowledge of CAN Bus communications and diagnostics preferred.
Experience with Codesys or similar controller programming platforms preferred.
Understanding of electro-hydraulic control systems.
Ability to read and create electrical schematics and wiring diagrams.
Strong troubleshooting, communication, and problem-solving skills.
