Position at Prismatik
We're looking for an EE Technician to support our engineers! You'll support prototyping, testing, and troubleshooting efforts across the product lifecycle - working closely with engineers to refine designs, validate performance, and improve the overall customer experience.
Essential Functions:
  • Assists in the design and fabrication of prototype cables and other electronic components.
  • Prepares, conducts, and evaluates R&D testing; documents results and highlights anomalies.
  • Collaborates with the engineering team to integrate feedback from customers and tests into product improvements.
  • Provides technical support, troubleshooting, and resolves product-related issues for customers.
  • Develops and maintains technical documentation, guides, and FAQs for internal and customer support.
  • Configures, calibrates, and maintains electrical testing equipment and diagnostic tools.
  • Supports engineers with tasks such as circuit analysis, soldering, and assembly.
  • Participates in brainstorming sessions for product improvement and technical reviews.
  • Ensures a safe and organized work environment by adhering to safety guidelines and keeping workspaces tidy.
  • Stays updated on advancements in electrical engineering, electronics, and relevant industry standards.
  • Performs other related duties and projects as business needs require at direction of management.

Minimum Requirements:
  • Associate's degree in Electrical Engineering Technology or related field; or minimum (2) years of work experience as an engineer technician in lieu of degree.
  • Previous experience as an engineering technician required, preferably with exposure to technical or customer support.
  • Previous experience with hands-on design and prototyping electronic components, required.
  • Proficiency in using electrical testing equipment and diagnostic tools.
  • Experience in R&D testing or product development, preferred.
  • Familiarity with CAD tools for electronic design, a plus.

Pay Range: $24.00-$32.00/hr
Exact compensation may vary based on skills and experience.
